The Deltec Cozmo® pump is the only all-in-one system with integrated blood glucose meter (utilizing FreeStyle strips), which stores glucose readings to the pump automatically. Additional features are the Enhanced Meal Maker®, Missed meal bolus reminder, bolus by grams of carbohydrate, adjustable bolus increments as small as 0.05 units/hour, weekly single or recurring basal patterns to accommodate regular schedule events (such as sports practice), basal rate testing, blood glucose testing reminder, correction bolus for high glucose readings, program lockout, site change reminder, full-size 300 unit cartridge, and - perhaps best of all - it's waterproof, so you may shower or swim confidently. The CoZmonitor® Blood Glucose Module
This
CoZmonitor® blood glucose module attaches
easily to the back of the Cozmo® insulin pump and communicates with
the pump via infrared technology.
As the first ever all-in-one insulin pump and blood glucose monitor, there is no longer any need to carry separate glucose monitor and insulin pump - the two are combined into one.
The Blood Glucose Module uses readily-available FreeStyle® diabetes test strips, also available from Western Diabetic Supplies
