Western Diabetic Corporation is based in the beautiful Rocky Mountain city of Ogden, Utah. We are a small company providing diabetic supplies online. The company was created by Ellen and Mike Walsh. Ellen is a chemical engineer by training, and was a quality engineer for the Space Shuttle booster rocket program, then in the automotive safety field. Mike is an aerospace engineer by training, and has worked in the Space Shuttle program and in the commercial aircraft flight controls business. We have two beautiful children: Tommy, 4, and Jimmy, 3.
Why diabetic supplies?
Both of our families have a high incidence of diabetes, and we were concerned about the difficulty and cost involved with our family members receiving their test supplies. This was important to us, because we know that regular testing and control of blood glucose levels is critical to maintain a happy, healthy lifestyle. We knew there was a better way, and we have
